Detailed information about the water meter GIDROTEK
GIDROTEK water meters are designed for measuring the volume of cold and hot water flowing through a pipeline.
Water meters are used to count of water at public utility facilities and in commercial premises.
The principle of operation of water meters is based on converting the number of revolutions of the impeller turbine, which is rotated by the flow of water flowing through the meter, to the display of a mechanical counting device.
The meter consists of hull, branch pipes for connection to a pipeline, a turbine, a magnetic coupling and a counting device with a reducer.
The flow of water through the inlet pipe enters the measuring cavity of the meter, rotates the turbine, whose axis is perpendicular to the direction of flow of water at the entrance to the counter. The turbine speed, proportional to the volume of water flowing through the meter, is transmitted to the reading device via a magnetic coupling via a reducer. The measuring cavity and the cavity in which the reading device is located are hermetically sealed.
The counting device consists of eight rollers, five of which count the volume of water consumed in cubic meters, three – in fractions of a cubic meter and one pointer.
The meters of cold and hot water are resistant to the water temperature, the volume of which is measured, and the normalized values of the limits of the permissible relative error, and the sizes are based on nominal diameters, normalized volumetric flow rates, overall dimensions and mass.
The water meters operate in the horizontal (H) and vertical (V) positions. In horizontal position, the meters correspond to class B, and in vertical position – to class A.
